Chapter 18 - Honey - The Gardeners' Dry Skin Cure

Got dry skin from too much time in the garden?
Honey to the rescue!

Bees do more than pollinate your fruits and veggies.
They provide gorgeous honey that not only makes you gorgeous on the inside but gorgeous on the outside, too.

Color brings bees to
your garden
Since biblical times, honey has been used as a fabulous facial moisturizer.  A drop or two is all you need.

Honey plumps up, heals and moisturizes your face better (and so much cheaper) than any commercial product you can buy.

Here's how:

After cleansing, wet your face with comfortably warm water.

Dab one or two drops of raw honey on your face. (Don't use more. You want to be moist - not sticky.)

With your finger tips, message the honey and water all over your face. Use a clean, thirst towel to lightly blot off the excess water.  Blot - don't rub it off.  Give the moisture a chance to soak into your skin.

Just like your plants,
your skin needs moisture
Over time, you'll develop a radiance as your skin drinks in the nutrients and healing that honey provides.  It will feel baby soft, too.

Your body absorbs almost all of what you put on your skin, nails and hair - so why would you slather yourself in things you wouldn't (or shouldn't) eat?
